
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) is inviting business owners and community leaders to participate in The Guardian Experience, a program designed to give attendees an in-depth look at law enforcement work.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, scheduled for September 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will include demonstrations such as Precision Immobilized Techniques (PIT) on the driving track, a “Top Shot” competition, and a live K9 demonstration.
The Guardian Experience will be held at 911 Law Enforcement Way in St. Augustine. Participants will meet specialized teams including SWAT, Bomb Squad, Motor Unit, Drone Team, Crisis Negotiation Team, Air Unit, and K9 Unit. The program also features tours of the Real Time Intelligence Center and 911 Communications Center.
Tickets are priced at $1,000 per person, with proceeds going to support employees and their families during times of need. Space is limited, and interested individuals are encouraged to register soon.
