St. Johns County marked Labor Day with a message honoring workers on its official Facebook page. According to the St. Johns County's Facebook post, they wished residents a happy and safe holiday while reminding them that county offices was closed on yesterday in observance of Labor Day. Normal operations will resume today.
Labor Day, a federal holiday established to recognize the contributions of American workers, was acknowledged by the county as part of this tradition.
While county offices and facilities were closed, emergency services remained available to the public.
