In an effort to support the health and nutrition of low-income seniors, St. Johns County has announced a Produce Distribution Event at the Hastings Senior Center. Set to occur on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the initiative is part of ElderSource's Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program.
Located at 6150 S. Main St., the event offers eligible older adults the opportunity to receive fresh, local produce at no cost. To qualify, individuals need to meet the age requirement of 60 years and over and fall within the specified income brackets specific to St. Johns County residents.
