Local law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a carjacking that occurred last month on the 3600 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The suspects reportedly confronted the victim and demanded his belongings.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects arrived in a red Jeep Patriot stolen from Washington Park, Illinois. Both the Jeep and the carjacked vehicle were later recovered, one in Washington Park and the other in the 4800 block of Kossuth. Detectives are now working to identify those responsible.
Images of the suspects, including their distinctive clothing and footwear, have been released to the public. Investigators say these details could help with positive identification and arrests. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities to assist with the ongoing investigation.
