St. Petersburg Fire Rescue (SPFR) teams responded to a residential structure fire and encountered heavy flames coming from the attic upon arrival. According to an update on St. Petersburg Fire Rescue’s official Facebook page, firefighters conducted an aggressive interior attack to bring the blaze under control.
All occupants were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported. St. Petersburg Fire Rescue also thanked Sunstar, Pinellas Park Fire Department, and Lealman Fire District for assisting on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue is working to determine what led to the incident.
