The cemetery, located at 14800 Old Brighton Road, is the resting place for many of the city's formative figures, including early leaders, farmers, pioneers, and soldiers.
It's an opportunity to engage with history on a personal level. Volunteers clad in period attire will escort guests through the rows of headstones and markers, embodying the spirits of their forebearers as they recount the contributions and connections these individuals had to Brighton. The event, free and open to everyone, aims to offer an intimate look into the legacy etched into the city's lineage.
