Fifteen-year-old D'Ajiah Mitchell was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries, while 14-year-old Kevin Reese was transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk County with minor injuries.

In an effort to generate leads, detectives are asking individuals who may know anything about the hit-and-run to contact Suffolk County Police. As noted by News 12 Long Island, "Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call police."
