Heading into the weekend, the warm trend continues with Friday's highs touching 91 degrees under sunny skies once again, noted the NWS. The mild southwest breeze should hold steady between 3 and 6 mph. It's a slight hiccup in the forecast that Saturday night may bring, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, although temperatures will hover around a comfortable 68 degrees.
The NWS forecast for the rest of the weekend includes a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms post 2pm on Sunday, and a dip in the high to a cooler 78 degrees under mostly cloudy conditions. Come Sunday night, the chance for precipitation drops to 30 percent with possible showers and storms before 8pm, followed by potential showers leading into the early hours of Monday.
As Monday approaches, the outlook from the NWS becomes brighter; the skies are predicted to clear up, culminating in a mostly sunny day with a high near 77 degrees. Continuing into the week, temperatures are anticipated to stay stable, with Tuesday's and Wednesday's highs lingering in the high 70s, despite partly sunny conditions that hint at some cloud coverage on the horizon
