Last Friday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested a suspect after a stolen vehicle chase on the 17800 block of Tomball Parkway. The truck’s owner stayed on the truck bed and gave updates to 911, helping deputies track the vehicle, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The chase started when Grigsby did not stop for a deputy. She led deputies on a several-mile pursuit before stopping. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 said on Facebook that Grigsby, a convicted felon, was arrested and taken into custody.
The owner of a stolen pickup was unharmed after being taken as an involuntary passenger. "Jade Grigsby was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail," charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, with a bond of $42,500 set by the 174th District Court. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the public is advised to follow their page and use the "C4 NOW" app for updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic conditions.
