Police in the nation's capital have reported a break in a recent robbery case that rattled a Northeast neighborhood last week. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a suspect has been arrested and charged with his alleged involvement in a daylight robbery.
In a statement issued by the MPD, it was revealed that last Wednesday, suspects demanded a victim at an ATM on the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, to withdraw cash. The victim complied, presumably under duress, and after obtaining the victim's property, the suspects fled. However, a day later, a vigilant patrol in the same district spotted an individual who fit the description of one of the suspects involved.
