Authorities are on the hunt for Dawson Hebert, a suspect who allegedly lifted $238.28 worth of merchandise from a Walmart on the 26200 block of Northwest Freeway last week. According to a statement from Constable Mark Herman's Office, Hebert is accused of entering the store last Friday, slipping various items into a backpack, and departing without payment, a theft that was reported to the deputies who arrived on the scene the following day.
The investigation intensified when it was revealed that Hebert was not only involved in shoplifting but also wanted on an active warrant by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for providing false identification to a police officer. Following this discovery, Constable Mark Herman issued a public request for information about Hebert's whereabouts, stating, "Dawson Hebert is currently wanted through Harris County for Theft and Fail to Identify to a Police Officer out of Court 16," which was publicly disclosed in a social media post.
