
A 15-year-old girl from Little Falls, MN, was seriously injured in a horse-riding accident near Bowlus, MN, according to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred at around 3:28 PM on September 21, 2025, when, during a riding maneuver, the young horseback rider was thrown from her horse.
The events took place roughly one mile north of Bowlus, in Two Rivers Township, where the unnamed juvenile was practicing. According to reports from the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, the horse bucked, sending the teen airborne and then onto the ground with considerable force. She was then flown by North Memorial Air Care to Hennepin County Medical Center. The nature and extent of the juvenile's injuries have not been made public.
Lending support during this emergency, the Bowlus First Response Team and the Mayo Clinic Ambulance were on site assisting the Morrison County Sheriff's Office.
