Chaos briefly descended on a North Side San Antonio neighborhood Thursday morning when three individuals were arrested following a disturbance involving a gun and a stolen government vehicle. According to FOX San Antonio, police responded to a call just before 10 a.m. near Cliffwood Drive by Interstate 10, where they discovered two people attempting to flee into a residence and a third inside the vehicle.
The first suspect was detained on the scene, while the other two were persuaded to slowly emerge from the house, resulting in their arrests. The vehicle, which was found to be stolen earlier in the day, had government plates, but the specific agency from which it was stolen remains unclear. In a statement obtained by KENS 5, police clarified that the incident initially surfaced as a report of a teen waving around a gun.
All individuals involved are currently facing detainment, with two of them being described as juveniles and the other as a young adult. The nature of the charges they may face has not been disclosed at this time. Furthermore, it has been hinted that one of the juveniles could be connected to a previous murder investigation, shedding a grim light on the breadth of the circumstances.
San Antonio police have not confirmed a link to the murder case and have released few details. KENS 5 reports that charges have not yet been announced, as the investigation is still in its early stages. More information is expected as authorities gather evidence.
