
An early morning shootout in North Auburn resulted in three arrests. The gunfire exchange took place around 4 a.m. Friday near Opal Drive and Quartz Drive, where deputies acted quickly to both respond to and investigate the incident. No injuries were reported, although an apartment unit and a vehicle did catch stray bullets from the scene, the Placer County Sheriff's Office reported on Facebook page.
In a statement obtained by Placer County Sheriff's Office, authorities shared that "Detectives took over the case and were able to identify and to quickly locate all three individuals involved." The third and final suspect was apprehended later in the afternoon, and the weapon used in the shooting was also recovered by the detectives.
