
A crash on U.S. 93 near Wickenburg last Saturday morning left three people dead and four others injured. First responders found two heavily damaged vehicles at the scene, which caused the highway to be closed in both directions before reopening later, abc15 reported.
According to FOX10 Phoenix, the collision occurred when the driver of an Acura attempted to pass another vehicle, resulting in a T-bone crash. Three backseat passengers in the Acura, who were not wearing seat belts, were ejected and died at the scene.
Among the injured, one Acura passenger is in critical but stable condition, the Acura driver has minor injuries, and the driver and passenger of the second vehicle are in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. Yavapai County officials have not released the names of the deceased, and the investigation is ongoing.
