Today, a serious rollover crash involving a white Lexus and a black SUV took place on Interstate 4 near US-192, close to Osceola County's collection of theme parks. The wreck resulted in injuries to three people, with one being listed as a trauma alert and necessitating a temporary shutdown of the eastbound lanes, reported ClickOrlando. While the accident prompted a standstill in traffic as seen on local cameras, authorities managed to reopen the lanes just before 11:40 a.m. following an investigation into the crash scene.
Another incident occurred near Exit 67 for EPCOT on I-4, which also led to a disturbance in the traffic flow with all the eastbound lanes shut down this past Friday. Recorded around 10:51 a.m., the incident forced the roadway to close for approximately half an hour, as per WFTV.
Details on the number of vehicles involved in this crash were unclear at the time of reporting, and the duration of the closure of the eastbound lanes was uncertain. The Florida Highway Patrol is at the helm of the investigation for today's crash.
