The aftermath of the first crash took a dire turn when, in less than an hour, a second fatal accident transpired amidst the resulting traffic congestion. An eastbound Toyota Sienna, its path suddenly halted, unable to stop in time, crashed into the rear of a Peterbilt 389 tractor-tanker combination, reported by WTVG. This fatal encounter claimed the lives of Dantrail Reese, a passenger in the initial errant truck, and Hongwei Wang, with Zhangli Liu, both occupants of the Toyota Sienna in the secondary crash, who perished at the scene.
