A Tulsa police officer found a miniature horse early morning yesterday, prompting a search for its owner. According to a Tulsa Police Department Facebook post, the horse was discovered near Independence and Evanston yesterday at about 7:30 a.m. Initial attempts to locate its owner were unsuccessful.
The officer noted the horse is kind of a nibbler. Tulsa Animal Services has taken custody of the animal while efforts continue to reunite it with its owner.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the horse or its owner to contact Tulsa Animal Services.
