
Two individuals were injured in a shooting incident that rocked downtown Lodi last night, as confirmed by the Lodi Police Department. Authorities reported to ABC10 that the attack, which is being investigated as a targeted event, took place near the 300 block of North Sacramento Street at approximately 8:17 p.m. The victims were found with gunshot wounds and promptly transported to nearby hospitals, though their current health status remains undisclosed.
Following the incident, a KCRA crew on the scene observed several evidence markers near a local bowling alley. An adult and a juvenile were apprehended after police located the suspect vehicle in close proximity. Two firearms were discovered inside the vehicle during a search conducted by the officers. As reported by KCRA, the suspects' identities have not been made public, and the motive behind the shooting continues to be under investigation.
Lodi police action resulted in the detention of both a minor and an adult, who were found inside the suspect's vehicle and were "positively identified as being responsible for the shooting," as told to ABC10.
