Last night, a gray Ford Focus, later confirmed to be stolen, prompted a response from deputies on Harvest Hill Lane following reports of individuals attempting to break into a vacant property. When approached, the suspects fled on foot, leading to a pursuit that continued into the late hours in the Woodcreek area. Two of the three suspects were taken into custody with assistance from Constable K9 units and DPS Air Support. The pursuit, which moved through neighborhood backyards and alleys, ended with the apprehension of the individuals.
Although all suspects were quickly located, charges have not yet been filed as the legal process is still underway. Authorities have also begun the process of returning the stolen vehicle to its owner.
In a social media post, Precinct 4 encouraged the public to stay informed through its mobile app, "C4 NOW," which provides real-time updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions in the area.
