Starting today, Peachland Boulevard in Charlotte County will have intermittent lane closures between Harbor Boulevard and Birchcrest Boulevard for underground power installation. The work, handled by Irby Construction, will restrict traffic flow on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 3, as per the Charlotte County website.
The closures are part of a project to enhance the power distribution system in the area. The Public Works Department advises drivers to remain alert and exercise caution near construction zones.
