After battling severe erosion that rendered the beloved spot less than ideal for frolicking, the city took measures to restore and improve the green space. According to a recent announcement by the City of Atlantic Beach, the park now boasts re-sodded areas and additional dirt supporting the walking paths, inviting patrons to experience the upgrades first-hand.
