The Vallejo Police Department recently reported the arrest of a suspect in connection with a homicide that took place last Monday. According to a press release by the Vallejo Police Department, 30-year-old Rashad Jaquez Roy Breed Love O'Neal, a Vallejo resident, has been charged with first degree murder following the investigation into the death of a man found with a gunshot wound in a parked vehicle.
The case unfolded when patrol officers and fire department personnel responded to a call at around 6:45 a.m. on the 600 block of Ohio Street, where they found an unresponsive male who was later pronounced dead at the scene. The Vallejo Police Department's subsequent probe, led to the identification of O'Neal as the primary suspect, culminating in his arrest during a traffic stop on the 4300 block of Sonoma Blvd. O'Neal was charged after a firearm was discovered in his possession, and the Solano County District Attorney's Office reviewed the submitted evidence, as per the same Vallejo Police Department release.
