The tranquility of Pasadena's evening was shattered when a carjacking took place in the 1700 block of Poplar Ridge Road late Thursday, leaving a man victim to a violent assault and robbery. According to a press release from the Anne Arundel County Police, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., involving a blue 2010 Infiniti and its unfortunate occupants.
The initial reports suggest that the victim, alongside a female companion, was suddenly approached by two unnamed suspects who wasted no time in asserting dominance through physical force, forcibly removing the man from his vehicle. The armed assailant, brandishing a firearm, amplified the aggression with a blow to the back of the man's head, laying claim to his personal belongings at the same time.
