Starting his career with the department in July 1993, Little's journey through the rank and file saw him serve as Firefighter-Paramedic, Lieutenant, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief prior to his appointment as Fire Chief in November 2014. "Throughout his tenure, Chief Little exemplified leadership, commitment, and vision; serving as a steadfast advocate for firefighters and guiding the department toward continued long-term success," the Violet Township Fire Department stated.
