According to a Fox Baltimore report, Baltimore Police Department officers responded to a shot-spotter alert on the 1000 block of North Arlington Avenue, in the neighborhood of Sandtown-Winchester, around 3:09 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 26-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The unidentified victim was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, marking another instance of lethal violence in the city's persisting struggle against crime. The barricade situation eventually concluded, and the streets have presently reopened, as WMAR-2 News reported, with police lifting the heavy curtain of uncertainty that had descended upon the area.
