A tragic incident unfolded in Westminster yesterday as a fire engulfed a barn, leading to injuries for three individuals and the loss of four horses. According to WBAL-TV, the blaze broke out before 1 p.m. at a location on Bell Road, with a barn constructed of brick and timber catching fire.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal, who is coordinating the investigation, has shared that approximately 65 firefighters battled the conflagration, which caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, for about two hours before it was brought under control. A 25-year-old man among the injured necessitated hospitalization, suffering first-degree burns to his hand, as reported by WMAR2-News.
