In a significant nod to their credentials and commitment, three Williamson County Justices of the Peace have recently ascended to influential positions within the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas (JPCA). The JPCA, recognized as the largest group of its kind in Texas, has traditionally played a central role in advocacy and education for justices and constables statewide. Judge Angela Williams, Judge Evelyn McLean, and Judge Rhonda Redden are the newly appointed officials, broadening their scope of influence to impact the justice system on a state level.
Specifically, Judge Williams from Precinct 2 has accepted the role of a Legislative Committee Member. Meanwhile, Judge McLean has stepped into service as the Judicial Education Committee Member, and Judge Redden, representing Precinct 4, will contribute as the District 7 Director. These appointments are significant; they indicate a collective endorsement from peers recognizing both their expertise in the judiciary and a readiness to engage in the enhancement of legal procedures and education.
