William Best has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for his role in a home invasion in East Bexar County on April 13, 2023. According to KSAT, Best pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated robbery after restraining three teenagers, using a pistol to threaten one, and forcing another to unlock gun safes.
Best had previously fled before a scheduled court appearance on June 26, cutting off his GPS monitor. U.S. Marshals later located him in Fayette County, Kentucky, and he was extradited back to Bexar County.
Undercoverist reports that Best entered his guilty plea on July 30, leading to the 40-year sentence handed down by Bexar County District Court Judge Ron Rangel.
