
A woman was found shot to death inside a vehicle in southwest Harris County. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 40-year-old Krystal Degeyter, discovered in a parked car on Sierra Blanca Drive near Alief Clodine Road on Friday night, according to ABC13.
Deputies were called to the scene at 7:31 p.m. and found Degeyter with a fatal gunshot wound. Authorities said she was with her boyfriend and brother during the incident that led to her death. Both are cooperating with investigators as they work to determine what happened, as reported by Click2Houston. An argument occurred before the shooting.
The investigation into Degeyter’s death is ongoing as detectives work to determine a motive and identify suspects. Part of Sierra Blanca Drive was blocked off for the Sheriff’s Office inquiry, and no suspect names or details have been released. “The boyfriend and brother are working with investigators to learn exactly what happened,” as mentioned by Click2Houston.
