
A violent altercation in Pittsburgh's Glen Hazel neighborhood resulted in one woman being hospitalized and another being taken into police custody early this morning. According to WPXI, Pittsburgh Public Safety officers responded to a residence on the 620 block of Johnston Avenue around 8:20 a.m. following reports of a stabbing incident.
According to WTAE, investigations at the scene uncovered that a dispute had escalated between two women, leading one of them to use a knife to stab the other in the stomach. The injured woman was promptly transported to an area hospital and is reportedly in stable condition. As per the details provided by a Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson, the individual in question is currently behind bars, with charges anticipated to be filed in connection with the incident.
The suspect was taken into custody following the stabbing, as police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
