They found a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds; despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
The aftermath of the shooting saw officers dispatched to W. Florissant and Adelaide. A 23-year-old woman was discovered, having also been shot, and was later reported to be in stable condition at the hospital. Ensuing investigation by homicide detectives led to the revelation that this shooting victim, along with another woman aged 27, were the suspects implicated in the man's death. The confrontation between the trio seemed to have spiraled out of control, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.
