A 24-year-old man was shot and killed early this morning inside a building on Dorchester Road in Brooklyn. The New York Police Department said the incident occurred around 2:07 a.m. within the 70th Precinct’s jurisdiction. According to FOX 5 New York, officers arrived to find the victim with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS transported the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Police have detained a person of interest, as per News 12 Brooklyn. Authorities have not released the identities of either the victim or the individual in custody, as the investigation remains active.
