Local entrepreneurs and business owners in Clay County can mark their calendars for November 13th, when the 9th Annual Clay County Procurement Conference is set to take place. The event, which aims to bridge gaps between local government entities and the business community, will be hosted at the Thrasher-Horne Center in Orange Park from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. According to an announcement on the Clay County Government website, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into procurement processes, receive vendor registration guidance and network directly with government purchasing representatives.
The 9th Annual Clay County Procurement Conference will be held with a $10 participation fee per person. The event is designed for local business owners to learn how to work with government agencies and understand procurement processes. Representatives from the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, Clay County District Schools, and the Clay County Sheriff's Office will attend.
Hosted in partnership with the Florida Small Business Development Center, the conference provides opportunities for businesses to engage directly with government purchasing agents. The goal is to help local businesses navigate government contracts and build relationships with public sector buyers.
