Commuters on Interstate 35 experienced significant delays last Saturday due to a crash that shut down traffic lanes. The Burleson Police Department, Texas, reported that an accident occurred in the 2200 block of the southbound lanes, prompting officials to close the inside lane to manage the situation.
As crews worked to clear the scene, the police advised motorists to expect delays and seek alternative routes. At 10:00 AM, the southbound side was fully reopened; however, northbound travelers were not out of the woods. One lane remained closed as authorities continued their work.
According to a social media update from the Burleson Police Department, the development on the northbound lane was part of the traffic management plan.
