
Annapolis police are currently on the lookout for a turtle statue that was reported stolen from the Chesapeake Children's Museum. The Annapolis community was dismayed to learn of the theft, which is believed to have occurred between the evening of September 26 and yesterday morning, as per WMAR-2 News.
The officers arrived at the scene on the unit block of Silopanna Road following a call about the missing turtle statue. The precise timing of the theft, however, remains opaque. Anyone with tangible leads or who might have seen something out of the ordinary is encouraged to step forward and contact the Annapolis Police Department at 410-268-4141, according to WBAL-TV.
The police have not yet released information regarding suspects or potential motives behind the theft. The Annapolis Police Department is also accepting anonymous tips through their tip line at 410-280-CLUE (2583), hoping that those who prefer to share information discretely will assist in recovering the beloved turtle statue.
