Violence erupted at a Dundalk party yesterday morning, leaving two teenagers and one adult injured in a shooting incident. Baltimore County Police were called to the scene in the 8000 block of Gough Street shortly before 12:30 a.m., where the sound of gunfire shattered the night, WBALTV reported. Resident Francisco Ramirez described the terrifying sequence, "My wife, she heard something maybe 12:30, 1 a.m. (while) she was sleeping. There was a party, and she heard some shot guns," he recalled. His wife's instincts, running to their children's room to ensure their safety, came as the sound of gunfire felt ominously close to their home.
First responders found a 16-year-old boy at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and another 16-year-old with a laceration to his upper body. Both were quickly transported to an area hospital for urgent care. Additionally, a 20-year-old man, wounded by gunfire, later presented himself to a local hospital seeking aid. The police, still piecing together the incidents leading to the violence, have actively begun a manhunt for the suspects, as reported by Fox Baltimore.
The department's detectives have yet to determine the relationships and conditions of the victims, indicating an ongoing and possibly complex investigation. In their efforts to understand the motive and identify the perpetrators, officials urge the community to step forward with any information.
