Among those arrested, sixteen individuals had previous entries on their Maryland arrest records, with eight characterized as repeat violent offenders, a concerning statistic indicating a recurring pattern of criminal behavior. Commissioner Richard Worley praised the efforts of the various groups involved, stating, "Our detectives, along with the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and our partners with the U.S. Marshals Service, have done an outstanding job investigating these cases, identifying those responsible and removing violent offenders from our streets." The arrest tally for the year now stands at 68 for homicide and 104 for non-fatal shootings, as detailed by the Baltimore Police Department.
