A Baltimore Police officer was rushed to Shock Trauma after being hit by a car on Saturday morning; the incident occurred at the intersection of Whitelock and McCulloh Streets, as per Fox Baltimore. The scene, cordoned by the flashing lights and the stern faces of investigators, soon became the focus of a manhunt which concluded with the arrest of a 42-year-old woman on the 2400 block of West Cold Spring Lane.
While details surrounding the officer's condition remain scarce, what's clear is the swift response from authorities leading to the suspect's apprehension, which involved a strategic traffic stop that curtailed any further flight, according to information from WMAR-2 News.
Authorities stated that medics transported the officer to Shock Trauma as a precaution.
