
The Baltimore Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect linked to a violent assault and attempted rape on the Johns Hopkins University campus. Per FOX Baltimore's report, the incident occurred last Saturday, around the 3100 block of Wyman Park Dr.
As the evening shadows grew longer on that fateful day, a suspect described by the police approached a student, allegedly to ask for directions. WMAR-2 reported that following this brief interaction, the man aggressively threw the student to the ground in an attempt to remove her clothing. Nearby bystanders intervened, prompting the assailant to flee and thereby preventing further harm.
In an effort to apprehend the individual, the Baltimore Police have released photos of the suspect caught on surveillance video. The flyers disseminated bear the image of the suspect, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact detectives at 410-396-2455 or the Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
