A security guard embroiled in a violent episode captured on a widely circulated video has surrendered to the Baltimore Police. According to CBS News Baltimore, 41-year-old Kevin Weaver presented himself to authorities yesterday and is now facing a charge of first-degree aggravated assault.
The assault, which took place outside the Public House in Federal Hill, showed Weaver engaging another man in a chokehold for approximately 30 seconds before forcefully slamming the individual onto a car. Throughout the incident, captured in a video shared by Barstool Loyola that has since gone viral, onlookers expressed shock, with comments such as "He turned pink," and urgent calls to "let him go" after the man appeared to tap out.
Pete Brazil, a security professional employed by a different establishment, criticized the action as "excessive" in an interview, mentioning, "He tapped so he shoulda let him go," signaling disapproval of Weaver's handling of the situation. Now, with charges pressing upon him, Weaver must confront the legal repercussions of his action, as reported by FOX Baltimore.
