Yesterday morning, a man entered a Brooklyn precinct covered in blood and confessed to killing his friend. The 58-year-old individual, with 16 prior arrests, arrived at Crown Heights' 77th Precinct around 3 a.m. with blood on his hands from the fatal incident, The Post reported.
The suspect, who had several scratches on his body, directed officers to an address on Troy Ave. There, authorities found a 56-year-old man lying supine with multiple stab wounds to his chest and arms. The man was pronounced dead at 3:27 a.m. Identification has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to Yahoo News.
At the scene, officers observed bloody footprints leading to the victim, where a blood-stained kitchen knife and scissors were found nearby. Sources informed The Post that these details indicate a close-range altercation.
The suspect is in custody, with charges pending as the investigation and questioning continue. It remains unclear who lived in the apartment or what caused the fatal incident.
