Brooklyn Park residents now have a new spot to shop for home improvement essentials at slashed prices with the opening of ReStore, a public home improvement outlet offering furnishings, building supplies, and appliances, with revenue directly supporting the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Already serving the community with locations in Minneapolis and New Brighton, this third ReStore outlet at 9300 Winnetka Ave N, Suite 200, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445, caters to the northwest metro demand for affordable home improvement options.
The grand opening of the Brooklyn Park ReStore is set for October 10 and 11 and promises an array of activities, including shopping deals, giveaways, food trucks, along with the involvement of local radio personalities Amy James from K102, Lisa Miller from KQRS, and Dave Ryan from KDWB for meet and greet sessions; the event begins on Friday with a ribbon-cutting at 9:45 a.m., followed by doors opening at 10 a.m. where the first 50 customers making a purchase will receive swag bags, and on Saturday the doors will again open at 10 a.m. similarly offering swag bags to the early bird shoppers.
According to the City of Brooklyn Park announcement, Amy James will be available to meet her fans in-store from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, while Saturday will feature Lisa Miller from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by Dave Ryan from noon to 2 p.m. The celebratory weekend will carry on with additional incentives for visitors to enjoy shopping and contribute to a cause that provides individuals with a starting point to homeownership and stability.
The two-day festive launch will also feature raffles with a chance to win items from ReStore and a photo station with a surprise larger-than-life household item; these are sure to create memorable experiences for guests while they explore ReStore's vast, value-driven inventory, and throughout the weekend, attendees are encouraged to bring items for donations which can be conveniently dropped off at the store's designated donation area, keeping the cycle of generosity and community support in perpetual motion.
