During a routine enforcement stop in Oakland, a California Highway Patrol K9 officer from the Golden Gate Division discovered illegal firearms in the possession of three individuals.
The vehicle was pulled over due to a vehicle code violation last Saturday, according to the CHP Golden Gate Division. The officer's subsequent investigation gave him probable cause to search the vehicle.
The search revealed that each of the three occupants was hiding an illegally concealed firearm. This discovery led to the arrest of all individuals on the spot. They were booked on multiple felony weapons charges.
