
Chicago police are actively seeking a male suspect implicated in the violent robbery and attack of a pregnant woman earlier this month. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. on October 4, in the tunnel connecting the Red and Blue CTA lines at Jackson, 230 S. State St.
The report states, the suspect accosted the woman from behind before throwing her to the ground and into a wall, after snatching her purse. Unfortunately, after the attack, he is said to have fled the scene on a bike. The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, needed treatment at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the injuries sustained during the robbery.
Further details have surfaced via surveillance images released by the police. CBS Chicago News shared the photos of the suspect, described as a young male with a thin build and a distinctive twists or dreadlocks hairstyle, possibly aged between 18 and 25.
