In an effort to bolster blood supplies in the Tristate area this November, Hoxworth Blood Center has announced a new partnership with the Cincinnati Cyclones. During the partnership period, anyone who rolls up their sleeve to give blood or platelets can snag an exclusive Cincinnati Cyclones hoodie. This drive focuses on community engagement and benefits, with a side of team spirit.
The campaign kicks off on November 1 and runs through the end of the month. Blood or platelet donors at any of Hoxworth's seven Neighborhood Donor Centers, or at selected mobile drives, are eligible for the thank-you gift, the supply permitting. It's a local push during a time when the need for blood donations often spikes.
"We are pleased to continue our partnership with Hoxworth Blood Center this season," mentioned Kristin Ropp, Cyclones vice president and general manager, in a statement obtained by the University of Cincinnati's news release. Ropp highlighted the shared enthusiasm for the partnership and the upcoming special event planned for November 3 at the Heritage Bank Center, where fans and the Hoxworth team will come together for a community drive.
