
Two Columbus men, Saadik Hussein, 20, and Liban Guleed, 22, have been indicted on charges connected to a 2024 shooting on State Route 161 that resulted in serious injury and life-altering consequences for a young man caught in the crossfire. According to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, the defendants are facing multiple accusations, including attempted murder and felonious assault with added specifications for the use of a firearm and engaging in a drive-by shooting. Hussein and Guleed are currently awaiting their day in court, being held at the Franklin County Jail, as shared by the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office in a press release.

On the other side, Yahya Abdirizak, 19, from Grove City, chose to take a different path. On September 17, he pled guilty to three counts of felonious assault and is now awaiting his own judgment.
