Commerce City is rolling out the National Community Survey (NCS) once more, inviting locals to share their thoughts on what it's like to live there, a move looking to tap into the pulse of the populace on a raft of issues from the economy and mobility to community vibes and green spaces. The exercise isn't just about getting a gold star for what's already good; it's a chance to shine a light on whatever improvements are knocking on the door, according to the City of Commerce City.
About 3,000 lucky residents have been randomly picked to weigh in, with the city ensuring a fair spread across all wards. They've been given a six-week window to ponder and post their responses. It turns out that come late October, anyone feeling left out will get their shot because that's when the survey makes the jump to digital, opening up online participation with a cutoff date of November 10, so mark your calendars for October 27th when the link goes live, as per the City of Commerce City.
The anvil of public opinion will forge the tools for the City Council and staff, helping them hammer out the kinks and smooth the way for a better Commerce City.
