County Supervisor Kathleen Vincent will host a town hall on October 20 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Greendale Safety Center to discuss the County Executive’s 2026 Recommended Budget. The meeting will include presentations from county finance and program leaders, followed by an open discussion where residents can share questions and concerns, according to the Milwaukee County.
Vincent encouraged participation, stating, “Please join me at these town halls. Whether it's Scout Lake (I'm already hearing many of you advocating for parking lot and pathway repairs to make it safe and accessible) or any other neighborhood priority, your input helps shape the county decisions that directly affect our communities.” Residents needing accommodations may contact the Milwaukee County Office for Persons with Disabilities at 414-278-3932 (voice) or 711 (TRS).
Residents who cannot attend the in-person town hall will have other chances to comment on the 2026 Recommended Budget. The Committee on Finance will take public comments on Wednesday at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. The Annual Public Hearing will be held on October 27 at the Mitchell Park Domes, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. and free public access to the Domes from 5:00–6:00 p.m.
