A search of Jameson's home led to the discovery of the stolen Fireball shots and an imitation firearm. Following his arrest on the night of the incident, Jameson has remained in custody. Superior Court Judge Robert Salerno handed down the sentence after Jameson pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery on March 26, 2025.

Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela A. Smith, who joined in the announcement, commended the investigative work that led to the swift apprehension and sentencing of Jameson.
